  • Alternative arrangements: If unable to attend drop-off, contact another artist on the list, Contact Betty or Jill as a last resort as we will have our hands busy.

  • Reminder state of artwork: Pieces must be either framed or look finished, such as a painted edge to gallery canvas. All artwork must be ready-to-hang for display with picture wire that will hang well on a regular picture hook (or two).

  • Promotional material at show: You may have business cards or promotional cards for future exhibits at the show. You can drop them off with your artwork or just have them out at the art opening. Please provide a small clear plastic holder for your cards.

    Opening reception

Friday, April 5th, 2024, from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM.
Join us to celebrate and connect! More artists present equals more energy for our group and sales for our artisans.

    • Marketing: Please promote the event on your social media and networks to bring in a larger audience.

    • Update your web presence ahead of show: All artwork will be tagged with your website or landing page of the AAC website (printed web address and QR code) as another form of promotion to connect you to your audience. Please make sure your websites and landing pages are up to date. If you don't have either, this is the time to set up an Instagram account exclusive to your art--even if you are a hobbyist. Post photos of your work, you doing your work, your workspace, your inspirations. It doesn't need to be complicated. Make sure you let us know so we can update the Artisan directory ahead of the Art show. For those of you with a landing page, we will update your photos if an update is warranted. Send updated photos to aacupdates@gmail.com

    • Food contributions: Light snacks will be provided, but additional contributions are encouraged, especially since we are expecting a crowd. Please reply to this email if you'd like to contribute.

    • Sales and payments: The Delaware Center for Horticulture will handle all sales, deducting their commission (35%) and distributing proceeds to artists. W-9 Tax forms will be required for sales exceeding, a certain amount. I believe it is $600. The AAC is not collecting a separate commission on this show.

3D Artwork:

  • Arrange your display setup on the day of the exhibit, arriving an hour before the opening.

  • Take all artwork home with you at the end of the evening.

2D & Relief Artwork:

  • Collection of unsold pieces will be Monday, April 29th, 2024 from 4-6 PM. If unable to pick up your artwork at this time, contact another artist in the exhibit to help you. Contact Jill or Betty as a last resort.
