A Living Legacy: 125 Years of Art and Craft in the Ardens

The AAC will be having 2 sister shows outside the Ardens to celebrate the arts and crafts legacy of our community. We will juxtapose works by contemporary artists along side works and photographs of artisans of the past 125 years in the Ardens.

First up is a 2D and wall relief Show at the Baby Grand in downtown Wilmington. Artists must be available to deliver artwork or arrange to have their piece(s) delivered to the baby grand (818 N. Market St, Wilmington, DE 19801) from 9-10 AM on Tuesday, Sept 30 and help hang their work if needed. Artists are to pick up their artwork 9-10 AM on Monday, Nov 3, 2025. Ideally artists will be at the show's opening reception from 5-7 PM on Friday, October 3.

We will be having two rounds of application. The first round is to gather photos for our marketing campaign. The Due Date on the application has been extended to May 8th. All photos for this round should be of a quality to use in print and online media. (5 x 7 format, 1500 x 2100 pixels, 300 dpi.) The second round will be due July 1st. Apply Today.
